Dr. Dogan Gursoy is the Taco Bell Distinguished Professor in Hospitality Business Management at Washington State University in the School of Hospitality Business Management and the editor of Journal of Hospitality Marketing & Management. He received his Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech. His area of research includes services management, hospitality and tourism marketing, tourist behavior, travelers’ information search behavior, community support for tourism development, cross-cultural studies, consumer behavior and involvement. His research has been published broadly in refereed Tier I journals such as Annals of Tourism Research, Journal Travel Research, Tourism Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research. His research has been presented at numerous hospitality and tourism conferences and received numerous research awards. He serves on the editorial board of several journals including Annals of Tourism Research (resource editor), Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Social Inquiry (associate editor), International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, Tourism Analysis, Journal of Travel & Tourism Marketing, International Journal Contemporary Hospitality Management, etc. His research has been presented at numerous hospitality and tourism conferences and received many research awards. Dr. Dogan Gursoy also receives frequent invitations to give key note speeches at international hospitality and tourism conferences. He is also an active member of Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) and the International Society of Travel and Tourism Educators (I-CHRIE).
Before designing the online version of the Hotel Simulator, he designed the HS05 Hotel Simulation software with K.W. Kendall. Students of the School of Hospitality Business Management at Washington State University have been using the HS05 Hotel Simulation software in their Capstone Course since 2005. Dr. Christina G. Chi
Dr. Christina G. Chi is a professor in the School of Hospitality Business Management at Washington State University. She teaches hospitality financial operations and accounting, and lodging classes. She received her Ph.D. degree from Oklahoma State University . Her area of research includes revenue management, hospitality financial operations, tourism image travelers behaviors and services management. Her research has been published broadly in refereed Tier I journals such as Annals of Tourism Research, Journal Travel Research, Tourism Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research. Her research has been presented at numerous hospitality and tourism conferences. She is also an active member of the International Society of Travel and Tourism Educators (I-CHRIE).
Dr. Yibai Li
Dr. Yibai Li is an associate professor in the operations and information management department, Kania School of Management, in the University of Scranton. Li obtained his B.S. in Computer Science and B.A. in Business Administration from Jilin University, Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Oklahoma State University. He obtained his doctoral degree in information systems from Washington State University. Li is specialized in a variety of technical skills, teaching skills and research skills. He is a professional programmer in .NET and Java platform. He is also skill at database design, enterprise information systems design and Business Intelligence. He is a professional data miner and obtained SAS OSU predictive data analysis certificate in 2008. He teaches a variety of courses such as data base design, system development and design, data mining, business intelligence systems design and so on. In terms of research, he is interested in the value creation process across enterprises, business intelligence and decision making, market intelligence and so on. His papers have been pulished in refereed conferences and journals. He has been serving as a reviewer for Information Systems Journal, CAIS, JAIS and many other journals. He serves as a mini-track co-chair for the "Enterprise Social Media" minitrack in the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) since 2013.
